I have managed a number of security related projects including the implementation of a mobile authentication product for Telstra, the implementation of the McAfee threat intelligence agent rollout and backend server product for Telstra and the planning and scoping of the threat management automation project for Telstra. I have an advanced Administrator security certification for the SecureAuth product suite. As a part of the software product rollouts that I have managed, I have had to engage various vulnerability and penetration testing vendors to assess the security aspects of the products and the associated risks to both data (client and company). Mitigating the exposure, negotiating fixes and updates with vendors as well as negotiating with internal stakeholders has been a large part of the work I’ve had to carry out.
